Today is Erin’s third birthday!  We celebrated her birthday with friends last night.  Erin totally knows what it means to have a birthday party.  She crashed on the couch late in the afternoon and woke up just before her party was to start.  She was so cranky and cried for a good thirty minutes.  Once we mentioned birthday cake and presents….she calmed down.  “My dirday cake?”  “I want to open my dirday presents!”  All of her friends showed up and the Backyardigan theme was a hit!  All the kids loved the Backyardigan masks.  We played “Pin the Tie on Pablo” and opened a Pablo piñata.  The only show that would have been a better theme for Erin is “Peppa Pig.”  Only if the show “Peppa Pig” was just as popular here in the states as it is in England….oh well….
